INA was founded by a migrant nursing student from Cameroon, who upon graduation from nursing school, saw the need for African families in America to give back to their hometowns and support the next generation. (INA) is a humanitarian effort to treat health disparities and raise health awareness in the continent by way of medical supplies, education, charitable donations and healthcare administration.
This 501c3 tax-exempt charitable organization, is intentional about the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN; often highlighting goals, 3 , 4, 6 and 17 in its daily operations which are "Good Health and Well-Being", "Quality Education", "Clean water and sanitation" and "Partnerships for the goals" respectively. At INA, we do research on vulnerable populations and work to meet the needs in those areas. We are a team of nurses, doctors, various medical specialties and volunteers; A team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the world. From our volunteers to our board members, everyone at International Nurses For Africa is committed to our mission and the populations we serve.
INA offers a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of our community, including scholarships, job training, and healthcare services. Our goal is to empower individuals and families to become self-sufficient and thrive.
OUR IMPACT:
Over the years, we have impacted the lives of thousands of children through our various programs. We have seen children who were once malnourished and sick, now healthy and thriving in school. We are proud of the positive impact we have made in their lives.
